I build AI systems that work in production. Not in demos, not in staging, but in the real environment where edge cases are daily occurrences and failure has a cost. My background spans multi-agent orchestration, full-stack engineering, real-time data pipelines, and offensive security, which means I think about failure modes, adversarial inputs, and system resilience from the design phase rather than as an afterthought.
Before focusing on AI systems architecture, I worked across several sectors, which gave me a perspective on technology that most engineers do not have. I understand what a system needs to do for a business to work, not just what it needs to do for a technical specification to be met. That cross-domain background is why I tend to spot problems purely technical teams miss, and propose solutions purely business teams cannot execute.
The consulting is the visible half. The other half is Dei Corpus, a medical AI venture I founded, and the place where the same engineering standards meet a problem worth a decade of work. The thesis, status, and roadmap are on the Ventures page.
I am Portuguese and São Toméan, based in Madrid, and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. My path has run from offensive security through blockchain systems to production AI and now medical AI, one domain at a time, each taken to depth before the next. The pattern is the point.
How I work.
Practical first
I do not deliver architecture documents that collect dust. Everything I produce is designed to be implemented, and I stay involved long enough to make sure it holds.
Honest by default
If something will not work, I say so. If a scope is underestimated, I flag it before signing. Uncomfortable truths beat comfortable silences in engineering.
Depth, not breadth
I do not dabble. When I work in a domain, I go to the level of source code and first principles. The multi-domain background is the result of going deep sequentially, not shallow everywhere.
I speak the way I think. Clearly.
Direct
No preambles, no fluff, no corporate detours. The first sentence already carries substance.
Technical when it matters
Never dumbed down to seem accessible. I adjust the depth to the person in front of me.
Confident, not arrogant
Knowing what I know, saying what I know, and never talking down to anyone in the process.
Honest
If I do not know, I say so. If I disagree, I argue it. Language is never used to manipulate.
